Lynne Gurley commented: The beautiful woman walking out of the kitchen door is my mother, Betty Gurley Beers. The woman closest to my mother is Nina Harrod. The woman 3rd from the left in the photo, facing my mother is Leola Franklin, and her husband Walter is the older man (2nd from the right) talking to the other man. They are all from FCC Bethalto. 
Lynne also said, "Luella Bregger is the older woman standing in the forefront. She is also from Bethalto. I'm going to ask mom if the children in the photo are my sister and I...it's hard to say for sure...we all had similar haircuts in those days!"

The work crew is from Brownstown. Tom Ewald (on the roof) was preaching there about this time. He told Frank Bush recently, "That is Floyd O'Dell far left, Clarence?, and Pop Smith on the right. Floyd Jordan is on the ladder. Those were myBrownstown men and I was there '60 - 65. Danny Bowling and I did the shower in that building...I do remember that. It could have been 61 or 63 but not 62. It does seem now that that building was in use before the last years I was at Brownstown so it was probably 61 or 63. I tend to think 61. Thanks... those were the days."
