1954 Class

In a box marked "1984" we found this slide that must be 1954. This is Mark Weaver (who preached at Old Ripley) teaching a class down by, what will later be, the lake. Notice . .. no lake!!

1954 HS Group Shot

This 1954 High School group was shot by Wilson Wiseman. This was the year that Frank Bush served as Vesper Speaker. Bushes lived in Catlin at the time. From Frank: "Roger Elliot was the preacher at Herrick. He invited me to preach at a men's meeting in the spring of 1955. It was there that the pulpit committee from Greenville interviewed me."

1953 Durley Campgrounds

The Durley Camp shot was taken in 1953 by Wilson Wiseman. The preachers are Bob Kinney, Cliff Butler, Dallas Newby, (preaching at Woburn at the time), and Mark Weaver (preacher at Old Ripley). This was the prior campground. Bond started in 1954.
