The old dining hall - taken down to make room for new

This was a facinating series. The old Dining Room building was built in 1954. Thirty years later it had served it's purpose and was torn down to make room for a new building. I was associated with this building for more than half of it's lifetime. I have a lot of memories . . . I knew the men who built it. I help repair it and build on to it. I helped paint it at least twice. As I viewed the slides, I couldn't help thinking about the hundreds and perhaps thousands of kids who walked through those doorways for meals and fellowship.

Joshua Monroe

Just for you, Deb. Josh is in the center. Who are the other two?

And still more 1984 -- A Lua? Definately a Hawaiian theme

More 1984

Look Mom, no hands.
Wait, is that nice?

1984 from slides found at camp

GOOD NEWS! Frank's scanner is back from repair. I don't know how much time he'll have -- he's building a new front porch at the moment -- but I'm sure he'll be sending more. I saw him at the wedding of my neice this past weekend (Mike's daughter) and he said that he has only sent us about HALF of the negatives he has -- not counting slides and other photos we are still collecting.

Here are the first of the 1984 shots. Help us identify campers, workers.
