1984 - cute kids!

1984 - what is occassion?

The picture a couple of posts ago of Max Whited may be this same event, where camp leaders are speaking regarding something? Anyone know what?

Maxine Seggelke - 1963

This picture of Maxine Seggelke has a story behind it. When she swung the bat in a faculty-student game her pants ripped. She was trying to keep things together as she ran for first base. It was 1963. Maxine and her husband Joe were making plans to go to Korea to help with a Radio station that was being planned. They were at the camp in the role of Missionaries. Their plans didn't work out and both of them went to work for LBI (later LCC) in the printing department. They made of go of that department and really blessed the college with their service.

1982 from slides

All of these photos in the 1980s are from slides we found stored at camp. Frank Bush didn't take them -- we left the area in 1970. However, he has the scanner that can convert them for us so they can be posted.

More from 1984

Max Whited is the speaker. I believe all are of Family Camp, 1984. Gary and Deb (Fritz) Monroe near the center, and Patty Fritz on the right speaking to the guy in red. So Deb, who else do you know? I know you and your family have attended every year for about forever.
