This is Life Recruit Week, 1957. Joe and Maxine Seggelke on the right in the back. Mike Heston is in that back row, too, and Claudia Price is in the striped shirt in the middle of the front row, with Janet Elam to her left.

In the dining room scene you can see Bill Stark and Dick Thayer.

The class is being taught by Ralph Elsworth. Kay Wiseman Dobson is in the photo. Anyone else?

Mike Bush is on the right sitting on the end. Isn't that Rob Fritz two down from him? Steve Roodhouse across from Mike? (I know you can't see much but our families spent a lot of time together and I think that's his head, what little you can see.)

Life Recruit Week, maybe? The Bible colleges often sent teams. Maybe St. Louis Christian College or Central in Moberly, MO? Anyone know names or college for sure? It may be a Family Camp or Christian Worker Week. I recognize Dan and Mary Diamond in the center on the left.

Thanks again for sharing these. They have not only
brought back pleasant memories, but created some
interesting discussions with our kids. Growing up in
Ecuador, their church camp experience was slightly
different (smile).

Not sure of the year - early '60s

We posted an earlier picture of "throw Charlie in the lake." This was taken at the same time, but shows the faces better. The man on the right is Carrol Lankston, a missionary to Mexico.
