Well, friends, this project began over a year and more than 500 posts and thousands of photos ago. We have now exhausted the photos in Frank Bush's library. It is time for everyone else to step up and provide anything you have to share with the group.

It has been fun for Frank, Deb, and Paula to put this forward and the memories have been wonderful, as have the renewed friendships that emerged. Bond Christian Service Camp certainly has been a factor in the lives of many of us, and the influence was and is immense. We will be forever grateful for the marvelous teaching and growing that happened there.

Camp Committees, 1963

Frank Bush recalls that, in addition to the directors, "The way the camp was organized was a group of preachers formed the Camp Committee and did most of the "running" of the camp program. Here is the committee in 63 (or what ever year these pictures are from.The Directors were also organized into various committees. The second picture might be of the property committee." 1961 Music Camp continued

In the picture on the left Jim Correll is directing the two girls. The girl on the left (with face hidden) is a girl who has been in many pictures, but I don't think she has ever been identified.

Maybe Carol Patterson from Ramsey? Another reader thinks the girl on left is Charlene Hazlett, girl playing clarinet looks like Janet Van Horn. Both girls from Brownstown

Vespers, 1961

Charlie Greer, 3rd row left. The man in the suit is Bill Stark (Probably the speaker). There are several G'ville kids in this shot. I see Fred Wiseman, front row left, send from end. Sorry so difficult to see on this one but couldn't resist that little tree in the ailse that we all walked around for so many years.

Frank Bush remembers, "It is funny that you should mention that little tree. Back in 1955, we didn't have seats (the audience sat on the grass . . . higher up the hill.) We had a speaker (last name was Steadman) who preached standing next to that tree. All week long he kept stumbling over it (it was very small) and at one point threatened to yank it up. We debated as to whether we should dig it up, but the majority were like me . . . We didn't want to destroy something unless we had to."
