Ed Hayden, the editor of the Christian Standard at the time, personally encouraged me to publish my first story in their Straight Magazine publication. Dad said, regarding this classic photo, "A perfect illustration of how busy people could take the time to work in camp. Without them the camp experience would be poorer."
